Canada Summer Jobs provides funding to help employers create summer job opportunities for students. It is designed to focus on local priorities, while helping both students and their communities. Canada Summer Jobs supports organizations, including those that provide important community services.
Second Harvest rescues and delivers fresh, surplus food to feed people experiencing hunger. The program runs 7 days a week and provides to a network of over 220 social service agencies. This year the goal is to rescue and deliver over 85 million pounds of food.
The Toronto Drop-In Network
TDIN is an active coalition of over 50 drop-in centres, throughout the City of Toronto, working with people who are homeless, marginally housed or socially isolated. The Network includes drop-ins of all sizes and diverse philosophies serving men, women, transgender people, youth and families.
The Stop takes a holistic approach to achieve real change in their community’s access to healthy food. They provide frontline services including a drop-in, food bank, bake ovens and markets, community cooking, sustainable food systems education and a state-of-the-art greenhouse and food systems education program.
Parkdale Activities Recreation Centre

Windfall assists our most vulnerable citizens by providing new and donated clothing and other basic-needs items to people who are living in poverty - distributing the items through partnerships with local social service agencies.

The Centre for Community Partnerships connects students with opportunities to take action and learn from intentional community-based experiences outside the classroom, while building sustainable partnerships with community organizations across the GTA and Peel regions.

Magic Lantern Theatres and Rainbow Cinemas is a Canadian motion picture exhibition company, established in Edmonton, in 1984. Rainbow Cinemas operates five cinemas in the GTA including Carlton Cinemas and Market Square.

Royal St. George’s College
Founded as an Anglican Choir School in 1961, Royal St. George’s College continues to foster its musical traditions and Christian values. The founders envisioned a school that would combine the best attributes of the independent school traditions with the training of boy choristers in the music and liturgy of the Anglican Church. Shortly after the College’s 25th anniversary, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II honoured RSGC by granting it “Royal” designation, making it the only pre-university institution in Canada with that distinction.
